The hotel and clubhouse designs are ready! And the design and feel our "North America" standard hotel is extraordinary. Starting in August, Nicaprojects will be offering these luxury suites for sale as strata units.
We have posted the renderings on our site here
Mantica Architectos have done a great job with the layout of the three floor, sixteen suite beachside hotel. The foyer of the hotel complex will be a three storey rancho (palapa) with the first floor housing the "open air" reception area. The first floor also includes the main restaurant, business centre, spa/workout room, gift shop, rental office and poolside bar.
The second and third floors will include 2 hotel rooms, 2 bachelor suites, 2 one bedroom suites and 2 penthouse two bedrooms suites. The viewing platform is on the second floor and a fine dining facilities on the top floor of the rancho... the view from our third floor restaurant will be spectacular! The views options are to the sunset, down the coastline, or over the estuary to Momotobo Volcano.
We estimate that we will begin construction in early 2008 and the official opening is November 2009.

Tamarindo Beach - Marina
Tamarindo Beach residents and visitors enjoy the benefits of living between the Pacific Ocean and the Estuary. The floating dock system will include a 10 berth dock system, with power, gas and water hookups.
On the estuary waterway, a comprehensive marine infrastructure is being design, including a marina (with marine building), floating ranchero and above water walkway system. The marina will connect with Red Snapper fishing lodge and provide charter day trips for both the estuary fishing and the ocean fishing. The marina will offer rental of kayak & small boats for use in the estuary system & the ocean.

April 2007
Soil testing for project road construction is underway.
The Nicaraguan wet season will come to an end in October. At that time, Tamarindo Beach will be moving forward with our biggest investment in roadwork to-date. We will be completing phase four of the roadwork plan. This will include the powerline road and the island roadway. The municipality (Alcaldia) has agreed to pave the initial 6.8km of our roadway leading to the project (from the main paved highway).
