Tamarindo Beach - Marina

Tamarindo Beach residents and visitors enjoy the benefits of living between the Pacific Ocean and the Estuary. The floating dock system will include a 10 berth dock system, with power, gas and water hookups.

On the estuary waterway, a comprehensive marine infrastructure is being design, including a marina (with marine building), floating ranchero and above water walkway system.  The marina will connect with Red Snapper fishing lodge and provide charter day trips for both the estuary fishing and the ocean fishing.  The marina will offer rental of kayak & small boats for use in the estuary system & the ocean.

A concept view of the river side pathway and open rest area. Covered rancheros along the river provide a tranquil rest area -- all accessible from the riverside walkway system. Each attractive river ranchero overlooks the river so that you can watch people fishing and boating, while enjoying conversation, a cool drink and the river breeze

The fishing is excellent with red snapper the primary fish in the estuary.  At high tide in the middle of the estuary, the depth is 25 ft & low tide the same spot is 18 ft.   Eight inch red snapper are very easy to catch of the shore and snapper in the middle of the estuary.  With a shrimp bate, you will have to wait only two minutes.

Tamarindo Beach in partnership with Angler Expeditions SA will be offering charter fishing at the project in the coming months. Rooster fish off the rocky near coast are common. Snapper, tuna(several types), mackeral at approximately three to  five km's offshore.   The big game fish(sail fish, dorado, marlin) are available beyond twenty two km's.  Tamarindo Beach & Ocean estates, along with Angler Expeditions(Costa Rica) look forward to offering our clients a fabulous fishing adventure in the coming months.
