Operating from the Tamarindo Beach & Ocean Estates resort penninsula, Nica Charters opens the first sport fishing operation on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua. Perfectly located in the Puerto Sandino bay with easy access to Managua (50 minutes) and Leon (25 minutes), the terrain offers excellent river fishing and deep sea fishing a mere 6 miles off shore. Operating from our 27' top calibre fishing boat, one can catch a salifish in the morning and troll the river in the afternoon. The river Tamarindo in the rear of the island offers 17 miles of untouched natural adventure. The access could not be easier with a client pick up spot right off the Pan American highway from Managua. The calm Tamarindo river offers ducks, large igaunas, flamingos, herons and large fish in its natural state.
