In the coming days, the electricity upgrade to the penninsula area begins with concrete power poles and 3 phase power being erected along the road side entrance to the Tamarindo penninsula. This will replace the 100 volt service with 220 volt service. The planning and permits for this work has been detailed and reviewed over many months, with the final permit being issued a few months ago. The work will start shortly.
